	The Amendment to the Bill
	SENATE BILL 03-307 BY SENATOR(S) Cairns, Groff, Hanna, and Sandoval; also REPRESENTATIVE(S) Mitchell, Boyd, Butcher, Carroll, Cloer, Coleman, Crane, Fairbank, Frangas, Fritz, Hoppe, Jahn, Marshall, McFadyen, Miller, Pommer, Romanoff, Salazar, Schultheis, Spence, Weddig, Weissmann, and Williams S. CONCERNING THE CONTINUATION OF THE REQUIREMENT THAT THE STATE INDIVIDUAL INCOME TAX RETURN FORM INCLUDE A LINE WHEREBY AN INDIVIDUAL TAXPAYER MAY MAKE A CONTRIBUTION TO THE COLORADO SPECIAL OLYMPICS FUND. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. 39-22-1802, Colorado Revised Statutes, is amended to read: 39-22-1802. Voluntary contribution designation - procedure. For income tax years commencing on or after January 1, 2000, but prior to ~~January 1, 2003~~ JANUARY 1, 2006, each Colorado state individual income tax return form shall contain a line whereby each individual taxpayer may designate the amount of the contribution, if any, such individual wishes to make to the Colorado special olympics fund created in section 39-22-1803. SECTION 2. Effective date.
