Bruce Cairns, R-Aurora, and state Rep. Don Lee, R-Littleton, would like to invite you to hear Columbine High School student, Evan Todd, speak on how the Columbine massacre changed his perspective on our culture. Since the Columbine Massacre, Evan has spoken literally coast to coast across America to dozens of public and private high schools, church groups and Boy Scouts of America Councils. His most recent engagements, this month, have been at the Crystal Cathedral in California and the Central Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Evan is a member of the Columbine High School varsity football and wrestling teams. He recently placed 5th in the state in wrestling and was awarded "The Spirit of Columbine" award for his positive representation of the school and peers in attitude, behavior and demeanor and setting a positive example to the youth of his community. Senator Bruce Cairns represents Senate District 28 which includes the city of Aurora and portions of Arapahoe County. Cairns serves on the Senate Education Committee. Rep. Don Lee represents House District 28 which includes portions of Jefferson County. Lee is vice-chairman of the House Civil Justice and Judiciary Committee and serves on the House Appropriations and Education Committees. -30- |
